MEET LYNNE DAVIS

From User Experience Design to Resident-Centered Government

Lynne Davis spent her professional career designing user interfaces for a national science digital library—taking vast, complicated systems and making them easy for everyday human beings to use. A local mixed-media artist with deep Rust Belt roots, Lynne understands hard work, community collaboration, and looking out for your neighbors.

She’s running for County Commission to bring plain-language transparency, systems oversight, and practical accountability to county decision-making.

Community & Affordability

Growth should lower the burden on working families, not increase it. Lynne will ensure that large commercial projects enter into binding Payment In Lieu Of Taxes (PILOT) agreements—securing local hiring, infrastructure investments, and property tax relief for residents.

Education & Future Generations

To keep our youth in Wyoming, we must link economic growth directly to local education. Lynne supports expanding partnerships with Laramie County Community College (LCCC) to train local residents for high-tech, specialized trades.

Infrastructure & Power Grid

As massive industrial and data developments move into Laramie County, our energy grid faces unprecedented demand. Lynne advocates for strict city-county joint oversight to ensure new industrial connections do not compromise grid reliability or push infrastructure upgrade costs onto everyday residential ratepayers.

Library & Public Institutions

Our Laramie County Library and LCCC are world-class resources, not political battlegrounds. Lynne will defend these institutions against censorship and put the library’s research skills to work helping citizens translate and analyze complex county development plans.

Public Lands & Water Stewardship

In semi-arid Wyoming, water is life. We cannot approve large-scale developments piecemeal while ignoring our shared aquifer. Lynne supports requiring mandatory cumulative water impact studies across all pending and existing projects before issuing new conditional use permits.

Safety & Community Stability

Safety requires planning. Lynne will use Wyoming’s existing laws allowing city-county joint sessions to ensure our sheriff’s department, emergency responders, and road maintenance teams have the resources needed to keep pace with rapid growth.
